Hello, my name is Michael how are you? I am also interested in purchasing the Maya Education Suite to learn at home but i am worried about the software leaving watermarks. Does any of the software apply a watermark in the renders or does it not?

The educational Autodesk products don't leave any visible watermarks, they do put hidden marks inside the file to flag that they're made using an educational product, and you will get a message about that if you open a file made with an educational product in a commercially licensed edition.
